Featuring a slim footprint, brushed AISI 304L stainless steel housing, and 10mm tempered glass swing obstacles, SlimLane provides a modern access control solution for corporate lobbies, government facilities, data centres, and transportation hubs.
Proprietary DIRAS® Infrared Detection: Utilises a high-density matrix of horizontal infrared beams (up to 60 IR beams per lane) managed by an ARM9 processor running Linux. Advanced predictive algorithms detect tailgating, piggybacking, wrong-way movement, and obstruction.
Rapid Bidirectional Passage: Swing obstacles open and close in under 1 second, swinging in the direction of passage to maintain fast, intuitive user flow.
Enhanced Life Safety & Egress: Certified under EN13637 for emergency egress. When connected to building fire alarms, obstacles automatically swing open to free passage. Includes mechanical unlock and optional battery backup during power outages.
Flexible Access Reader Integration: Concealed integration options for RFID proximity cards, QR codes, barcode scanners, and biometric devices.
Web-Based Control Interface: Embedded web server accessible via Ethernet allows real-time local or remote configuration, monitoring, and maintenance diagnostics.
End-Post Extensions (EP): Extended cabinet posts provide dedicated housing for biometric scanners, face recognition terminals, or card collector drop boxes.
Custom Aesthetics: Custom RAL powder-coat options (RAL 9005 black, RAL 7016 anthracite grey, etc.) and custom screen-printed logos or etched patterns on glass obstacles.
Partial Opening (SL 950): PRM lanes can be configured to open partially (600mm) for single ambulatory pedestrians to prevent side-by-side tailgating fraud.
Raised Plinth Systems: Optional mounting platforms allow installation on raised floors or listed buildings where floor drilling is restricted.
